We are what we dream

Recently opened, Casa Petrini, is a wine tourism project that integrates, winery, accommodation, restaurant and spa. Located in Uco Valley, Tupungato, just 90 minutes away from Mendoza city- Argentina, in front of the majestic Andes mountain range, and next to “Las Tunas” river. A naturally unique place that we always imagine coming truth our dream.

Vineyards Finca

Our vineyards are located 1.170m above the sea level, in front of the Andes mountain range and next to the river “Las Tunas”. A river that is born in the high mountains and that with its natural journey shapes our terroir. A natural preserved place never cultivated before and with great diversity in its soils. We have 87 acres planted in the year 2013, with following varieties: Chardonnay, Malbec, Tannat, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. 

Vineyards Soil

We have the pleasure and the challenge to cultivate in a soil with a “river identity”. Of alluvial and heterogeneous origin, permeable, loose, rocky, with higher content of inorganic salts in the environs of the river and marked elevations and depressions generated by the same river ‘’Las Tunas’’. In its diversity stand out, the presence of volcanic or basaltic rocks with magnetic properties, from the Tupungato volcano.

Vineyards Weather

The presence of the Las Tunas River located next to our vineyards, generates a natural microclimate. This is evidenced by a drop of 4 C degrees temperature in relation to the furthest points from the river, added to the thermal amplitude, generates together the contribution of freshness and elegance to our wines.
